Duncan Christie is a Toronto-based Picture Editor. Christie earned a degree from the Film and TV program at Toronto's Humber College in 1997 and, drawing on his background as a musician, went directly into freelance editing where he built up his storytelling skills over the next 15 years. During that time he's amassed an impressive credit list that encompasses features, comedy series and documentaries including all 6 seasons of the cult-hit Kenny vs Spenny, Disney's My Babysitter's a Vampire, Gemini-award winning Cock'd Guns, Monster Warriors and A&E's Biography. Throughout the 2000's Christie also built up a respectable credit list as a Director, starting with Gemini winner SwapTV, three-time Gemini-nominated Kenny vs Spenny, TVO's Think Big, and his first feature Confessions of a Porn Addict, starring Spencer Rice and Mark Breslin which Duncan also co-wrote and edited. Confessions of a Porn Addict won Best Feature, Best Performance and Best Cinematography at MockFest '08, the Los Angeles-based mockumentary film festival and continues to build critical and cult fame. Recently, he edited the surreal comedy show Picnicface as well as Rue Morgue Magazine founder Rodrigo Gudino's first feature film The Last Will and Testament of Rosalind Leigh, which will screen at Cannes film market 2012 as part of Perspectives Canada.
